GTC Technical Training
Primary focus: Substation training

Ken Kennedy
Experience: 42 years in substation operation and maintenance, system operation and control with GPC and GTC.

Wayne Lee
Experience: 39 years as power plant operator, division operator, senior method and training specialist for GPC and GTC.

Jim Long
Experience: 38 years of working in operations and management at GPC. Primary focus was to make sure that the transmission and distribution systems were maintained in my area of the company. Operated and tested substation and transmission equipment on a regular basis during this time.

Mike King
Experience: 31 years working in System Operations at GPC. 14 years as a Transmission Operator. 10 years doing ITS training at GPC and 7 years training Transmission Operators with a primary focus on Energy Management Systems and NERC Certification. Presently NERC Reliability Certified and NERC Transmission Operator Certified.
